What is Booknimo?
Booknimo is a mobile-first publishing platform that combines books, companion podcasts, and highlight-based social sharing.
Is Booknimo the same as note or Audible?
Not exactly. It brings together note-style reading, Audible-style listening, and SNS-style sharing in one product flow.
Are the books paid?
Books are published free to read. We also offer an ad-free plan, but the books themselves are not sold as the core business model.
Are podcasts played in the app?
In the MVP, podcasts link out to YouTube. In-app playback may be added later if the cost structure makes sense.
Does Booknimo use follower counts or recommendations?
No. We intentionally avoid follower counts and algorithmic recommendations. Instead, we use marks and social highlights to support discovery.
How do authors apply?
Authors apply from the public site. The team handles the admin editor and manuscript upload on their behalf.
